So, I am using nano SwinSID... however, I already ran into its limitations, for example, you cannot read the value of OSC 3, and hence, certain programs / functionalities such as vibrato

don't work with it (line 120 PEEK s+27 always returns 255...)

Any ideas for an affordable, AVAILABLE alternative? I understand that Ultimate SwinSID is supporting OSC3 Reads, but it is not available...

I really know nothing about SIDs, only that I always loved their sound. But maybe this is an option:

The guy behind it (Andi6510) is active in different forums and you surely can contact him.

There is also Armsid. It's a little more affordable and seems to be a pretty good alternative.

Great project but too big and bulky, and not a drop in replacement for the SID chip because it requires extra space...

Great, thanks. Ordered 2 of these - it supports OSC3 reads!
