Amstrad CPC 464 DDI-1 Ribbon & Power

Hi All,
This is my first post HELLO!
I just bought an AMSTRAD CPC 464 (my first computer as a child) with a DDI-1 disk drive.
The problem is it came with no ribbon for the drive, no power cord & TV connector. I am looking to keep this a cheap project so if anyone can help me out with a few parts for the right price I would be really greatful!

Hello and welcome to the group.

The DDI-1 comprises two parts, a controller that plugs into the expansion port of the CPC464 and an FD-1 which is a 3" disk drive, it looks like you do not have the controller (DDI-1).

You may be able to find a DDI-1 controller with or without FD-1, if it has an FD-1 then using the FD-1 you already have, you could have two drives connected to the DDI-1.

Or, you could get a CPC6128 you could connect the FD-1 to it as a second drive using a simple ribbon cable.

Ebay has cheap PSU and scart lead sets.

I just saw that this has been answered in a second thread, I should have realised everyone else would have answered you already.
