Also a bit stupid that they didn't keep to the original PCB dimensions so that you could use an old cartridge housing.

Heh, yeah, was thinking the same when I saw the photo where it's plugged into a Plus...

Because it is always the same PCB/EPROM design since and new softwares are only to sold as it.
