got this baby with 512kb memory extension.
i was very happy , but unfortunately all programs that require more than 64kb are not running.
is there any compatibility problem with vortex or i just need to activate it somehow ?

The vortex memory extension is not compatible with the 'standard' dktronics ram.
If the list is complete, only a handfull software can use it : http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Vortex_Expansions_RAM_card#Software
the compatibility problem is caused by BOS ROM ?
if yes can this be disabled and replaced with another one ? with FW3.15 ?
No its caused by hardware.

- Vortex can bank upper / lower 32 KB blocks
