Erratic 6128 key

Hi All,


I have recently taken ownership of a 6128 which I am cleaning up.
Having replaced the drive belt its now a runner but the "o" key is erratic.  Occasionally doesn't register on the first key press and if you hold it down it doesn't stream the letter o across the screen at a set rate but it more erratic.  All the other keys seems to be fine.
Having a read around my first thought its open up the keyboard and clean it out but I am wondering if I may be missing something as just about every post here about keys not working features them not working at all rather than my erratic issue.


Any thoughts appreciated.

Clean the membrane. If it was a problem with keyboard scanning then more than one key would exhibit the problem.

Still I am very pleased that a drive belt replacement and a good cleanout was all it took.  Now to get an m4 or similar and symbos I suspect.
So many options
