Hello. I am hoping that somebody might be able to help me in locating any software for this peripheral! see pic (sorry its on my baby ericsson but the cannon g9 has gone on holiday without me).

unfortunately i don't have a single piece of software for it but it would have been supplied on disc or cassette. Its original manual and software (i presume it certainly would have had some) are missing too!!

I know very little about it really apart from the fact that more after market software/cover sheets were certainly produced see below. The "graf" relates to the standard layout underneath the yellow additional cover entitled "Graf pad 2 art" so there would have been a disc or cassette program as part of this extra art  package as confirmed by the manual!!

Exactly  how many other covers and software packages were produced for this for the cpc  i just wouldn't know as its the only example of its type ive seen but without the software its a real shame!! Ideally i would like someone to transfer the software onto 3"" disc format for me and post it to me (of course i would reimburse any costs or could provide blank 3"" discs for you to use).

Thankyou and i hope somebody will be able to help!!

Hi Youshi.doshi

The device you have is quite seldom for the CPC, I have never heard about the software being available for download anywhere on the internet(been looking for it myself) If you succeed in getting the software for this device it would make such a nice addition to the CPCWIKI article, also some better pictures would be nice - blink blink.

PS. CPCWIKI article so for: http://cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Grafpad_II

Thanks for your reply YgDrazil. I always knew this would be a difficult proposition as i have acquired this recently but was informed of the task beforehand!!

I am in the process of collating what i actually have right now (hence the disc game photos of which i have a fair few more to add when my camera gets back). I will add pics as you have requested for the wiki of what i have and hopefully should be able to scan the microdraw manual in its entirety at some point soon!!

We may never find the software i guess but hopefully somebody might come across this and be able to provide it one day!! I would be very grateful!!

Hello,

I have never seen this hardware "for real". Like the french Graphiscop II, it was expensive and I suppose it has not been very well selled. That will be hard to find the software for it, but probably not impossible.

hello MR Tom et Jerry.. i took a look at the graphiscop and i certainly have never seen that before so thankyou!!

Hopefully something may turn up one day as new leads develop and contacts are hopefully formed on this great site!!

I took a chance with this knowing forwell it would be a difficult task. The previous owner assured me it would be so as he had failed to secure any software for it and wished me luck!! But you just never know,, someday it might be possible!!

That is my hope!!

Thankyou Stefan (TFM).

You are welcome!

Since the CPCWiki is down I couldn't provide the data there. So I put it in to the file section of the FutureOS group.
