Congratulations. For a reversed 12V you actually came out ok. I've seen CPCs that had a lot more damage from the same mistake.

Helpful hint from "tjjq44"

"" To be sure nothing else than amsdos is broken, simply remove your amsdos ROM and boot the CPC,
it should behave like a 464: type [run"] then if it asks you "press play then any key" you win! Just replace a new amsdos or even better, parados :-) ""
