Hi, has anybody managed to make DES (Desktop Environment System) to work with M4?
I uploaded the 2 DES ROM files to slots 5 and 6 and reset my CPC, but DES doesn't start like it does under an emulator.
In a old style Rombox slots 1 - 6 or 8 - 15 will be OK. Unfortunately I have never tried it with the M4 so can't comment on that combination.

I've really struggled to get this and many others working with the M4, very confusing...

I just tested it. It works fine, however it will not read the microSD filesystem, only your floppy discs.
Before starting it, you should type |M4ROMOFF.
Also you need to powercycle the M4 board either by CPC power off/on or M4 reset before roms are flashed and usable.
