Title: Stop Press and other CPC DTP programs
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 06:57, 10 July 18
I used Stop Press a few times and thought it was well laid out and relatively easy to use.
It was certainly superior to MicroDesign or MicroDesign Plus in its text handling facilities.

Did anyone else use it?
Or Fleet Street Editor (bugged or debugged), PowerPage or Pagemaker?

If so - what was your experience with them?

Cheers,

Peter

Used it back the day to create some issues of a newspaper. It worked well. However for painting GFX I usually used G-Paint or less often OCP. I got in contact with MicroDesign way later (in Germany) and used it too for few productions. They all worked well and I would still use them (instead of PC stuff) if I would have time.  :)

Yes we sold a few copies of MD+ in Germany via Obermeier Computers(?), sorry I can't remember the correct name.
It was of course, one of those copies you were using?
