Don't forget to include the small bit that's glued on the printer. It won't work without.

I don't know whether anything is missing... it did work for me as it is, as you can see in the video (I probably did not set up the printer properly... should have checked the DIP switches or something) Do you have pictures, documentation or something? What does this "small bit" do?

EDIT: Ah, the switch vane - now I know what you've meant. Indeed - the vane is missing! Thank you, I will update the description. Should have read the manual more carefully...

Yes, that bit. I did no know how it was called.
What's odd, is that I've seen at least 2 printers on ebay recently that had it, without scanner !

Then I do hope someone is lucky and gets the missing bit and makes a better demonstration video (or review?) on YouTube. There was yet no video of a "working" Dart Scanner, so I made one (miserably, I know...)

Thumbs up for pointing that one out, finally I know why this thing never worked as expected.

Or that one: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/273693960263 - the vane is clearly visible on the first picture.

Hi Poliander,

If you are interested, some fine examples of what the Dart is capable of are shown on page 5 of the MicroDesign Plus thread.
