Why would anyone back/buy this when retropie is free ane easy to set up, or any of the hundreds of pre-configured up to 200gb sd I ages are freely down loadable?

To me, it seems like again another effort to make money on the back of emu authors and game collection maker...

Thanks OP for registering to promote your crowdsourcing, will be you contributing anything here on this forum other than using for publicity of your product?? The coming soon looks a bit light on detail but impressive if you have developed new emulators for 80 machines, however I would imagine there could be some legal issues with this sort of thing unless it is all uniquely developed IP and having to comply with the licencing of all this stuff if you are reusing other peoples work. It seems unlikely to me that it will be all uniquely developed given the scope of what is proposed but we can wait an see.
Personally I'm quite happy using RetroPi which is free to use and given the debacle around some crowdsourced retro projects like the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega Plus I'll likely keep my money in my wallet on this kind of thing.
