Well, I don't want to burn my fingers, but I think this catagory needs rework.

- Define an active geme developper (time since last release? How long?)

- Is developpment for PC ok? (If not, then delete them)

- Any other "wanted" thingies ???

Please comment here and let's find a more detailed agreement. Else this category remains pretty much spongie ,-)

No need to nitpick I think... Let's not try to define "how recent" is active...

No nitpicking at all, but there is just chaos. I'm not mentioning names, but do people belong there who actually never made any program for CPC. Maybe I'm wrong... so it would be beneficial to mention productions, no? At the moment this category is just too confuse imho.

someone who still devellop apps on GEM, so amstrad PC and Atari ST users mostly...

:P

Well, I did this category when I was in a godlike frantic mode on the categories...

Of course such term can become inaccurate with time...

I actually meant more something like "recent"... like in the past 10 years perhaps...
Also to promote the few who actually try to do some releases on Amstrad...

Last 2 years weren't that bad, quite a good amoount of games.

Yes, and that kind of people is listed 8)

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with the last 5-15 years, and with "try to release" I'm fine too. What ever!

But it should be CPC or not?

An active CPC developper has his free time arranged for that, he like that and may release one project or update by year. He share his progress. (blog, webpage, forums, ...)
If he work on it only when he have nothing to do more,  then it's a passive developper.
(everybody got projects sleeping since 10 years ago, or want to do but don't)

By extension, an active project need to have a CPC-Wiki page.
We may present it like follow and update it's content to share progress.
No uptaded page since 3 months come speeping project.
No updated page since 1 year may be a dead project.
CPC-Wiki may list a global page with knows projects links on it.

Well, all people replying here are well know for their CPC projects.

But look at the category and you see what I mean :-)
