Currently transferring it to discs, can't wait to watch it!

Why three sides (42-tracks) for 3.5 discs though? couldn't you guys pack everything on two sides (80-tracks)?

3 discs are used in order to be able to launch the demo on 3inches disc without having to create two versions of the demos.
Maybe it was a wrong choice if nobody use anymore the original drives (I do not myself)

It's always a good idea to go for 3", I mean it's 30" of CPC years.  :)  However, why not making a version for 3.5" (5.25" is the same anyway) in addition? It shouldn't be much effort imho.  :)  If I can help with FDC stuff let me know.  :)

I am not sure I am ready to spend more time on this project now, I need to do and think of other things.
ATM I have 0 bytes free (so almost impossible to fix future bugs that can be found), but if I remove the turndiscs I should have enough space for the extracode.

@TFM I can suggest:
- to wait (and pray ?) that I am ready to do that
- to share you the code in order to let you modify what can be done (as everything is fully automated in a Docker container, maybe it is also necessary to write the tools able to manage discs with a different formatting that the AMSDOS one)

Take your time and a break! You guys did just super awesome work!!!  :) :) :)

Very cool release. Thanks to all the guys involved in this production. And thank you in general to all the other guys out there who spend a lot of time to keep our beloved CPC still alive with their work. Sadly I don't find as much time as I would like for my little CPC.

I've just discovered how to write  links with anchors in youtube videos at specific position.
So I have added them tothe 30 years megademo video in order to select quickly which part to watch. Here is the link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhh1xZ6OXp8.

Note that it is also possible on a real CPC to load only one specific part:
RUN"30YMD" 'BENEDICTION
RUN"30YMD" 'CREDITS
RUN"30YMD" 'DIRTY MINDS
RUN"30YMD" 'FUTURS
RUN"30YMD" 'GPA
RUN"30YMD" 'PULPO
RUN"30YMD" 'SHINRA
RUN"30YMD" 'VANITY

To skip intro:
RUN"30YMD" 'MENU

I like that they are announcing the awards at Revision on...

(If you don't get the joke, you're not really a demoscener... and you're not really missing a great joke! ^_^)

a bit late but is it me or no proper Youtube HD/HQ version with at least 720x50hz is available ?

Else congratulation for the nomination at Meteorik's awards. Sadly no win.

I have a VOB file; I can share it with you if you are able to create a better video; I'm not expert, I do not know how to do it differently.

BTW what is the interest in doing an HD video of a SD video ?

for the internet visibility... despite CPC not quite being even 480p, if you don't have at least a real 720p50hz or 1080p50hz you can't see the proper clean pixels on the Youtube Video and animation frames are not well adjusted.

But yeah I quite catch your argument or "just pulls it on a real machine"...  ;)

Still better to have demos properly displayed on youtube in clean HD than loosy 240p or alike full of blurry compression artefacts (exagerating, the 480p version is not that bad of course).

got to remember CPC being somewhat on the 272 or even 280 vertical size, it doesn't match well with a 480 vertical size (not clean magnification)

Also online watchers may have many different sort of screens to display so best quality from the beginning ensure best watch pleasure for the masses.
And many Demo-fans are not especially Amstrad CPC specialists and may not be wanting to fire proper emulator or have real hardware.

and in proper HD sizes you can see the proper pixelings as well and see if mode0 or mode1 or 2 ... and clean screens when video is put on pause.

exemple :

the "proper" Overflow's version in 1080p50 available :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22wSm4y27Wk

some reposts in "low res" (and emulator displayed lol) :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zs3HXJtpR8

another exemple : oh sweet 240p I meet you again...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkslG1SBRo8

if original video is in "lowrez" there is compression, so there are artefacts on the screen...

360p:

1080p50 :

of course it is not like as it should be watched : on a real CRT screen, but it doesn't give a good watching experience to have those compression artefacts, blurryness or even bad sound quality or bad re-scaling on modern HD/4K monitors.

just saying.
