Salut !
Sorry, french only!
For those who want to learn easily how to make your splitscreen, Simply read this post.
You won't have to credit me for this. It's free ! Questions are welcome too, if you need to know more.
Shame my French is a bit rusty. Does this have something to do with the other post?

Cheers, maybe 2019 will be the year I make a proper game, been saying that since 1984 :)
If you needed any help, just ask. It's not a problem.

I have read that post a dozen times over the last 3 years. I think I understand it, yet I can't seem to apply that knowledge to split a HUD/play area in a game.
Is it just me?
Et maintenant, https://amstradplus.forumforever.com/t550-Programmez-vos-Ruptures-encore-plus-facilement.htm#p6829 (https://amstradplus.forumforever.com/t550-Programmez-vos-Ruptures-encore-plus-facilement.htm#p6829)
I understand the technical theory, but in a classical game with HUD in top and game render in bottom how can rupture be useful ?
Rupture can be useful when you use HardScrolling (cf:reg12/13)
...or doing fullscreen pictures without using register 12 overscan bits. (Hello Steph!)
Also useful if hardware double buffering the play area, so you don't need to duplicate the score line.
