Title: Video recording with WinAPE and frame skips
Post by: Rhino on 12:56, 23 February 19
I have noticed that videos recorded with WinAPE from time to time duplicate the same frames which also produces frames skips. I've tried saving decompressed and in several compression formats and the same thing happens.
Anybody know a way to avoid these annoying skips?
Thanks!

You can use an external software like playstv, bandicam, fraps or even better Radeon Relive if you have an AMD card.
If you still want to do it from the emulator try Techsmith capture codec.
Produces small files with great quality and framerates up to 60.

Thank you!
I think those programs to capture video have a problem with the CPC, whether you capture at 50 or 60 fps you do not get a very smooth video.
I think the best option would be to capture the exact frames at 50 fps from the emulator recording support and then interpolate the video at 60 fps, but it seems that WinApe skips frames.
Are there other emulators that record video?
