I was 5 goals to their 1 in the Second Quarter with 34 seconds remaining in the game when the program decided to revert back to the menu and play this interesting tune, you can still hear part of the original tune in it, but now there's all these other interesting notes being played!  :laugh:  It's as funny as!  :laugh:  Check out the attached mp3 I've captured of it!

* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

excellent. Sounds to me like the music player got a bit confused and started playing other parts of the memory.
Possibly a bad transfer/copy or a bugged game.

It must be a really funny bug.

Didn't something similar happen with Target Renegade? I'm sure I remember (even on the proper original game, not a bad dump) that the music and channels started going out of sync with each other

It is a cracked version from my own personal tape - at one stage I would have transferred it to Disc using Soft-Lok (obviously after I started ordering stuff from the UK!  ;D ). Though the Tape I have of it shares these same faults - e.g. Crashing - either Reseting the machine or Locking up, the counter in the game may also do weird stuff if the game freezes like tick very fast down to 0, the game will simply return back to the menu during the middle of gameplay which it did in this instance and mess around with the tune which I think is a first I've ever encountered doing that, though I do recall it heading back to the menu during gameplay! The game has it's fair share of faults, though I still enjoy it somehow, though definitely one of the few games Codemasters would have wanted to forget about!  ;D

It just seems that certain elements were done in a hurry such as the bug checks and released in a hurry without ever really checking the game through properly. Personally I think some of it is nicely put together, it uses Mode 1 graphics and some of the graphical work done in it looks really nice - unfortunately the players don't live up to the same expectation and the work done to define them is rough. Apart from that the Tune and musical scores for goals and other little bits is exceptional and the gameplay isn't awkward (I've played worse).
