Suggestions:
- Deadline: 30st June of 2016 (so we can use the X-MAS break and the cold ugly winter days)
- Must run on GX4000 too (you kinda stated that, just to make it clear)

We could copy & paste the ROM competition page for that purpose... ?

Participants:
- EgoTrip
- TFM
- anybody else???

Less than 5 participants is ... boring...

Well you can count me in. I'd definitely say target hardware should be a GX4000 (so 64K, no add ons, no keyboard required etc) and also entries must use at least one Plus feature. At minimum that means setting a Plus colour palette even if everything else is done old school, I don't think that's anything that requires much "learning hardware" and keeps the spirit of the thing very cart centric.

Do I win anything for all these conversions to the GX4000 ?

I've just fixed " North Star "

I've remapped S for Smart Bombs to Joypad Button 2

Smart Bombs are the 3rd pickup at the bottom of the screen when you get any  ;)

I've also fixed " Dragon Ninja "

The High Score is maxed out to avoid being stuck

That's what Revision History is for...

Well yes, if people actually wrote a changes summary; now one has to compare each edit against the previous to see what's what.

No, you just need to compare against the last time you came.

Gryzor

Erm, yes, if you did that from the beginning. As I said, it's too late now!

Like i said, the "View History" function of the wiki took care of it for us.

Am I misunderstanding something or are we doing circles here?

No, you're just wrong.

You select the last revision and the revision from the last time you came, you press the button and then you have ALL the changes in one page.

Without going through all revisions one by one.

Here is all the revisions for June : http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php?title=Converted_GX4000_games&type=revision&diff=93818&oldid=93559

Eh, yes, and where are the dates then?

What's  the point ?
Brain Radioactivity

Gryzor

The original issue was to add the date-added field to the table so it can be sorted that way. Not to merely find new releases, I think.

No, the original issue was that it was tedious to update the set when you let time flow a little bit too much cause you have either to download all, or to find what has been added/updated.

I think revision history does the job pretty well. And i plan to release a weekly .dat for ClrMame to make things super easy.

I have no interest and really don't see the point in archiving the release date just for the sake of it.

But if anyone wants to do it (people may have time to lose), then let's go, but yes you'll have to go through each revision.

Well, then, that's a reply to the original poster, not for me :)

Well, your post was an answer to his post, and he talked about adding a release date column for one specific reason.

But end of discussion for me, no more time for nitpicking. Knowing if i have aswered to you or not is not very interesting in this case...

I don't think it's as good as the original game from codemasters, but I've converted " Robin Hood - Legend Quest ".

yurif74

Another one (almost) finest conversion:
Super Sprint
keys remapped and text changed, i tested it on winape since i have no time now to test on real hardware, one player should work, but could someone test on real hardware and check if player 2 is supported please?
Pressing keys
G (Joy2 fire) T (Joy2 right) R (Joy2 left) 5 (Joy2 down) 6 (Joy 2 up)
player 2 can be controlled, so it should work perfectly on GX4000 :D

I hate to come here with a request.. But I have drawn a total blank with Silkworm.

Would Elite and Savage be too ambitious?

Elite, I'd say probably...It uses the number keys to determine the current views, cargo, Hyperspace map etc.... There are simply not enough buttons on even 2 controllers to map that lot to.

Savage - Not familiar with that one, sorry

Savage was programmed by David Perry for Probe and released by Firebird.. I think it could be do-able for a GX4000
