Here is another game, this one is " Abu Simbel Profanation ".

This game was only released in Spanish as far as I know, there wasn't much to change so I've done a Spanish and English version in this cpr, I've also included a poke option for infinite lives.

The game is now joypad only.
Joypad 1 Button 1 = Long Jump
Joypad 1 Button 2 = Short Jump
Console Pause Button = Pause Game, Joypad 1 Button 1 or 2 to unpause
Joypad 2 Button 1 = Quit Game

Phantomz

Here is a small update for " Abu Simbel Profanation ".

I've now included a poke option for " Invulnerability ".  ;D

The game is now joypad only.
Joypad 1 Button 1 = Long Jump
Joypad 1 Button 2 = Short Jump
Console Pause Button = Pause Game, Any Button on Joypad 1 to unpause
Joypad 2 Button 1 = Quit Game

Is 1.4 still the latest version of the Nocart tool or is there a newer version available?
An expanding array of hardware available at www.cpcstore.co.uk (and issue 4 of CPC Fanzine!)

I've done some more work on the Dizzy games.

I included a couple or so versions of the first three dizzy games and the amstrad action version, that are at slightly higher play speeds before.

I have now done the same for " Dizzy IV - Magicland Dizzy " and " Dizzy VI - Prince Of The Yolkfolk ".  8)

You might prefer these.   ;)

Hi,

How do you mean, "slightly higher play speed". As in you've sped up the game, if so how and please tell us more?

Game runs at the same speed, just Dizzy moves quicker.  ;D

Sounds great! Maybe you could get the car in Outrun to zip along a bit faster [emoji23]

If only, I'm not a miracle worker.

I only looked into making dizzy faster as @Zoe Robinson wasn't happy with the speed of dizzy in treasure island.

I managed to do that game so thought I'd look at the others too.  ;)

Miracle workers never consider themselves miracle workers.  ;)

Too right! He wasn't walking, he was meandering. That's no way for a brave adventurer to behave! :D

Has anyone tried or is it possible to convert the "adios al a casta" games to cpr format?

https://www.4mhz.es/adios-a-la-casta-episode-1/
https://www.4mhz.es/adios-a-la-casta-episode-2-de-buen-rollo/

I've got them converted to cpr, but only tested in winape at the moment.

The games won't work on the GX4000 due to only having 64k, did you want the games for the 6128 plus?

Here is another game, this one is....

" Bubble Bobble ", the original version by Firebird released in 1987.

I know we have the new fantastic Bubble Bobble remake (BB4CPC) by César Nicolas Gonzales available to play now, however I also wanted to play the version that I used to play as a kid.   ;)

The game is now Joypad/s only, Button 1 to Shoot, Button 2 to Jump.

Pause / Unpause with console pause button, can't pause the game in the final encounter ( Part 2 ).

Joypad 1 Button 1 to Start a one player game, Joypad 2 Button 1 to Start a two player game.

If you play a two player game, you receive eight credits, Use Joypad 1 Button 1 to continue for player one and Joypad 2 Button 1 to continue for player 2.

In Bubble 1 ( part 1 ).
I've removed the need of the access code completely, when you complete part 1, you will now see " NOW PLAY THE  FINAL ENCOUNTER " instead of " ACCESS CODE FOR THE FINAL ENCOUNTER, ZZZ13VWZZZZZZZZZZZZZ1WVZZ1Y24V2W ".

In Bubble 2 ( part 2 ).
When you load part 2, you will see " LOADING " instead of " TYPE IN CODE ", you would normally have to type in the access code here, or even type in anything to load the game, however instead of trying to change the code or even having to keep pressing any keys, I've made it so that you don't need to type or press anything to load the game.  8)

I've included a poked version which gives infinite lives for both players in both parts.  ;)

Phantomz

Here is another game, this one is " Inside Outing ".

Game is now Joypads only.
Joypad 1 Button 1 to Jump.
Joypad 1 Button 2 to Pull.
Joypad 2 Button 1 to Pickup.
Joypad 2 Button 2 to Drop.
Joypad 2 UP to Pause /Unpause.
Console Pause Button to Quit.

I've included a poked version with Infinite Energy.  ;D

Skunkfish

Here's a nice platform game, Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo from Hi-Tec Software in 1991 - hopefully fully GX4000 ready....

Controls are:

Joypad 1 Fire 1 to Start Game

Joypad 1 Fire 1 to Punch
Joypad 1 Fire 2 to Jump
Joypad Left/Right/Down = Left/Right/Down
P/'Pause' to Pause
Joypad 1 Fire 1 to Unpause

I removed the trainer because I like it 'pure', I could post another version with the trainer if anyone wants?

Here is another game, this one is " Sai Combat ".

You can use both joysticks by default, so you can play with 2 players.  ;D

Joypad 1 UP and DOWN to select 1 or 2 Player.

Joypad 1 Button 1 to Start with 3 Lives, Joypad 1 Button 2 to Start with 6 Lives.

Quit game with console pause button.

Phantomz

Here are a couple more Shoot'Em Ups.

The first is " F1 Tornado Simulator ".

The game is now joypad only, use Joypad 1 Button 2 for weapon select.

Press Joypad 1 Button 1 or Dpad to pass highscore table.

The game has no pause or quit option.

I've included a poked version which gives infinite lives.

The second game is " Q10 Tank Buster ".

The game is now joypad only, use Joypad 1 Button 2 to drop armour piercing shells.

Press Joypad 1 Button 1 or Dpad to pass highscore table.

The game has no pause or quit option.

I can't add a poked version or make the inbuilt cheat work due to compression.  ::)
