Thanks to Sara Vilaplana Rúa, I was able to recreate the Crocker game from the CPCRetroDev 2018 contest using the graphics from her game.
While the original game was unfinished, a Mockup screen from the 1st page of their manual gave me some ideas and from there make a simple fun game.

Like the original game, you have to get your Frog to the Hamburger. In my version I've setup some Nature Strips and defined the Roads and Fencing. To make the game a bit more difficult, in order for the Frog to progress through the Screen it must jump where Gaps are presented in the Fence to proceed. However in each level a Time Interval is set and when it has been reached the Gaps disappear/reappear along a random selected location along the Fence. Each level becomes a little bit harder by reducing the Time Interval slightly causing the Gaps to disappear/reappear more frequently.

This new version I've written in BASIC using Michael Gledhill's SpriteMaker to handle the graphics, I've added a M/C routine of my own to handle the drawing and removal of Fence where I originally found BASIC was lagging and causing a brief pause in the game.

Here's a Screenshot of the game:

And DSK image can be found here.

I hope others enjoy!

Simple and fun game  :)

It's a really good idea to use the graphics of an unfinished game of CPCRetroDev 2018 to make a new game, the hard work on the original game is not lost.

Thanks guys for the Likes and Comments.

The Manual from Crocker was very helpful and Sara was very pleased when I got in contact about Crocker. The Mockup screen in the manual gave me the idea of creating a Fence situation with openings being randomly selected.

Sara was very happy with what I came up with, just felt it was a shame it wasn't like that for the CPCRetroDev Competition.
