First time in my life I see this, but it is cool! I mean, I find it very clever  :)

It was made for Kaypro Z80 based machines in the early 80s.
This is the PCW version converted to CPC disk.

I love games that were designed for machines not designed for games (Not including Text Adventures) Ingenious

Same here, many times I watch some PET games or old scramble handhelds.

Puresox

Yeah truly awesome and really play well , on many occasions. The TRS 80 Black and white, also impress's me with some of the games with just blocks for graphics.
I would love to see some CPC games that work on the principle 90% Playability 10% Graphics , just to see how fine a game could be produced .

VincentGR

Yeap, last years TRS attracts me a lot too.

Do you remember an ASCII scramble here in the forum?
Too bad it didn't released  :(

I recall it being mentioned .But was not aware if there was a playable version or any version displayed? Will love to see it if it is about?

VincentGR

Perhaps it was just a suggestion, I remember a screenshot but as an idea :-/

That Scramble screenshot has haunted my thoughts too.

You did a good job with Ladder Vincent and arislab. :)
I still believe that i got my myopia from the green GT-65 monitor, but i can't prove it! :)

Take a look 'ere for converting it to CP/M or CPC:

Thanks!
We will try but we are doing this blind.
I just make the transition and arislab compiling.
If we are lucky  :-X

Gryzor

That was sooo geeky. :)

Did you try yet ? With success ?

VincentGR

Well we did with 100% failure so I give you this instead which is completely out of topic just to laugh  ;D

Was just reminded of this via a Reddit thread: used to play this all the time on my dad's NCR Decision Mate V.
The download link in the video is gone, but I think this is the full CP/M version: http://www.classiccmp.org/cpmarchives/cpm/Software/WalnutCD/lambda/soundpot/f/ladder13.lbr
