I didn't think sites copying game writes up happened until today!

Way back in 1985 Capcom released the start of one of the greatest side scrolling platform game series we have ever known. It featured a knight, creepy enemies, lots of graves and was extremely difficult to the point of frustration. The game I am talking about is of course ' Ghost 'N Goblins ', the first game in the Ghosts 'n Goblins franchise which appeared on many different systems such as the Amstrad, C64 and ZX Spectrum. And it is that game from the Amstrad CPC version which has now received a final alpha overhaul for the GX4000!

Ghosts 'n Goblins overhaul coded by Xifos is one of the best Amstrad "Remakes" we've played for some time as it's like we are playing a true Arcade 8bit version of the classic... But on the Amstrad! It features redesigned enemies, character detail change, an overhaul of the landscape graphics and the biggest change which everyone will notice is the smooth scrolling throughout each level using the capabilities of the GX4000 console!

Happens all the time, although it's new to see for the CPC.

For PlayStation scene it's a daily thing. There are so many PSX sites, and they all copy / rip from eachother. Although some have gotten better at including the source.

When I released 8-bit Memoirs and Ukko's Journey, I posted on 2 PSX sites. Within a week it was posted on all different kinds of gamesites. I did nothing. Gotta say it was of course a nice way of getting exposure. The amount of visitors on 8bitMemoirs.com and Blu-Play.com are still high because of this.

If I were you I would politely ask them to include a link to the source.
Considering they did translate it (and there are many russians who don't understand english), I kinda feel it's ok. But yea, they should include source.

Not the first and not the last time. Too many retro-"journalist" are copying old newspaper, pictures... And even the mistakes of course.

13 years ago I moved to another town, and shortly after I made a website with news and photos etc about the town.
Many years later some other dude also made a site, and copied a lot of the content from my site - word for word. Didn't even correct the grammar errors that came from replacing the name of my site with the name of his site. 

That's just how it is today. You can't do anything about it.
