Interesting video, wonder what became of the young hot shot businessman.

That's a nice coincidence seeing the video here today. Some days ago I bought an adventure game from Interceptor Software for CPC, which was completely unknown to me. Pretty good condition for 7 quid. It's called "Forest at World's End".

What Word Processor?

There's one here called Easywriter by Interceptor Software which was coded in Hisoft Pascal.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D

Thanks Amsdos,

From that, I've found the review in issue 2 of Amstrad Action. Strangely, it doesn't look like Amstrad Computer User covered it at all.

Cheers,

Peter

Wow I just read the review and it sounds very disappointing. Considering I typed in a Word Processor that Your Computer published late '84 which has Insert Mode, Delete Mode and some of the other things which make it sound like a Word Processor, that Tenner for Easywriter didn't seem like a bargain.

Yes, a pity the program didn't live up to the great loading screen.

So did Richard Jones retire off before he was 20?  Seems a bit young and strange for someone to think about retiring at such a young age before you've even really got going.

I want to so much believe that Richard Jones moved to America and founded Dick Jones Communications - "PR THAT TAKES YOU PLACES"  sounds awfully fitting and have been around for 30 years. Though it probably isn't him.
