After releasing his Speccy AGD-Game Pink Pills on Amstrad, Sebastian Braunert finished converting his previous work "Mike the guitar" to our Amstrad. Sebastian wrote:

CPC version of 'Mike, The Guitar' is finished.
Help Mike to fulfill his dream: to play a solo! Mike wants to play Nirvana (Smells like teen spirit!). But bad ass Beethoven and his gang want to stop our brave guitar hero.
Avoid angry instruments and the maestro himself. Collect the 8 plectrums to practice (Piece of cake? Maybe, but at first the plectrums are blocked. Take one and another one will be freed. Which one? Find out😜.) Eat the batteries to add energy, so even if one of the bad asses gets you, Mike can start from the first screen again. After you have collected all friendly plectrums go to the loudspeaker, connect and "Play It" . Have fun

Funny little game, is it! Will need some time to solve the puzzle and the nice tunes feel like the eighties.

Is it me or is the game a bit too hard? Having the monsters going at the same speed, without being able to slow them down is a bit... unfunny.

There is a steep learning curve, but i'm not a hardcore gamer...

EDIT : In fact the game is hard at the start, but it become easier as soon as you go up...

Interesting little game though...

Thanks for the conversion - I'll have to find some time this weekend to play it - how is CPC AGD these days compared to the Spectrum version? Isn't there a PC editor these days?

Thanks, for playing the game :) . It was made with the windows version of AGD (v06), which is still a little buggy. Thanks to Shining it is possible to add music to the AGD games (I can not thank enough!).... Converting speccy games is not that easy at the moment. Sprites, blocks and objects have to be redesigned and some code has to be adjusted. It is time consuming, but it is also fun.  By the way the game is not that hard: First collect all the batteries, that gives extra lives. And in one screen you can trick Beethoven, that he runs in a dead end... Have fun!!!
