I thought that I had posted this before but can't see it - anyway worth a watch.
I'd personally be very interested in a video on the Plus machines as Sharopolis hints at near the end of the video.

The comments from James Edward Cosby (a commercial programmer for the CPC) are particularly interesting.

I have seen that video. I think that video will need updating... looking around the CPC scene there are a few new games in development that will push the Amstrad even more. A lot of the games featured on the video don't even use the full potential of the Amstrad.

And released... But most peoples do not care about all the CPC life after 1995. A shame.

It's what I often read but then in fact it's like never people sold their CPC arround 88-89 to buy the Atari 520 STf or Amiga 500.
Most of these people mainly know the CPC from the 80". And I think it's a huge hidden mass, they don't write anything on the web about it, mainly it's nostalgia and nothing else. Also people clearly wrote comments for 80" games, no matter if they are truely passionate.

IMHO this video is heavily biased. Only commercial stuff from some countries.

What's missing? 90% of what it should be.

Action: We need a better Vid, covering up especially all the scene productions!

Thanks for all the replies.
Yes I think a much extended and inclusive video would be appreciated but I'm glad that this type of video is being made.

@Token
Good point - I'm sure that many people did sell off their CPC's to purchase a 16 Bit machine.
My personal opinion/position was always quite clear - and this might be heresy to some people - the Atari and the
Amiga were always "The Enemy"

Indeed, there are better games.
It must have two categories, old and new releases.
This is a job for.... @ComSoft6128  ;D

The freescape games must have been some of the most taxing games for the Amstrad, things like purple saturn day might have nice graphics but did it really push the capabilities of the machine?
I think our Amstrads got sold my dad after I bought a 386 and my brother already had an Amiga.  I did purchase a GX4000 but we all know how that ended unfortunately.

Good one VincentGR!
I'm always glad when someone volunteers MY time for a project ;D

As five of the Romdos D20 disks I have here have already generated 48 videos and with only another 195 D20's to go - a video on this particular subject should be ready about........................................2050 :D

Cheers,

Peter
