Not that it matters, but I think I still have two of those older ipod minis with 4pin port, but my current ipod is a gen 7 ipod nano (which is crap, but my curvy nano 5 died - best ipod ever made).

160gb last gen iPod classic here. Decent capacity and no iOS. What is there to dislike.

The fact that a European models are lower in volume than their US counterparts (thanks for that, France!), whereas iOS iPod touch models have the option of switching off the EU volume limiter.
