Post by: amijim on 21:24, 10 June 18
Hello there, after the gem game gng port on the gx4000 i was wondering if it is easy to port some other games to the cpc+ using the remarkable technicks  xifo has used.Scrolling alone was a remarkable update.Anyway i stepped upon titus the fox updated files from its creator and i am wondering if xifos engine can be used for a total remake of titus the fox game.He also has some perhistorik 2 files. What do you thik? http://ttf.mine.nu/download.htm

"Easy" is probably a bit hopeful. It would basically require a re-write of the entire game to utilise the Plus hardware. It's not impossible, but it would certainly be a fair bit of work.

Moktar (Titus the Fox) has already a nice gameplay.

Super Cauldron would be nice in GX4000 : less level loading long interludes, and less lag in "border" of scrolling land.
