Can't tell if this video is taking the piss (out of Roland) or not. Chances are she wasn't even born back when Roland games were released.
The generous amount of cleavage in the intro, as well as the forced jokes and cookie-cutter editing during the actual video do suggest that she's yet another fangirl aspiring to make YouTube her day job.

She does mostly speccy streams, I think. I'll watch her next one of those before I pass judgment. If you've never vblogged a machine before, it's not easy to get it right the first time.

So I finally watched this... man, you really need to lighten up.
I actually enjoyed her humour. There wasn't actually a thing wrong with what she was saying. Roland was forever morphing so there was no consistency in the mascot, unlike say... Horace for the Spectrum.

You're complaining about cleavage in the intro video? Ok, maybe you like men with big hairy beards, nothing wrong with that, it is 2018, but I think throwing a comment about her image is an unfair attack when it really has nothing to do with her video overall.

I dunno, I liked the fact that it was a different take on something that's been done to death, so what if she wasn't born in 84. You probably weren't born when the Beatles or the Stones or Kraftwerk were at their peak, does that mean you can't listen to them, read up on some history and then form an opinion about them.

Seriously, it's posts like the above that is a classic example of everything that is wrong with the retrogaming community in terms of snobbery, elitism, etc. So what if she's young, so what if she has a chest? This is supposed to be about having fun, and quite honestly, I think she's having a lot more fun making those videos, than you probably are... period.

Good for her, I say. I'd like to see more of her input about the Amstrad tbh.

Gotta say I liked this video too, and I know I'm rather picky. I lose interest fast if something annoys me, like e.g. too much talking, or too loud background music so it's difficult hear what's being said, or bad jokes etc etc. I know I'm way too picky. But I actually managed to sit through the full length of this one, and that's impressive for me.

Yeah, I think she's only getting into the Speccy and CPC scene recently. I'll be interested to see where she goes from here. I think she's off to a good start anyway.

Me neither. Although I did buy Roland Goes Digging from the Amsoft catalogue (please allow 28 days for delivery!) before I found shops in Dublin who sold proper titles for the Amstrad

I thought it was actually a pretty good summary, she's clearly still learning but does appeared to have toned down the overt sexuality and a little of the silliness and I think the overall content is all the better for it to be honest.
