How do i remove mold smell from my cpc 464? I found it from an old, moldy house.

Mold smell is inseparable from our retro stuff. In fact it's what gives us the hots, while making our wives sniff the air in disgust. You don't get rid of it. You treasure it.

That said, the usual airing/washing/cleaning methods should aleviate the effect.

My parents say that "If you want to use it, then remove the mold smell." So that's why i gotta get rid of it.

Raw plastic parts can be washed in the dish-washer.For the PCB and other parts, bury them in cat-litter granules for a few days.Spray deodrant can be good too for plastic parts, but don't get it on the electronics as it's full of aluminium particles.

What washing program do you recommend? Like is there a temperature limit or something? And do i need to use a tide pod?
