Yup it's an 5.25 double height MFM Hard-drive with an MFM 8bit ISA Controller Card. Probably with a huge capacity of about 10MB and probably from an Amstrad PC1512 or PC1640.

Ah duh! I didn't notice the edge connector! PC it is...

I've got my eye on it for my PC1640 (with the bust 20Mb HDD)....... I wonder if they parked the heads before removal?

It's in Cheshire! Do you know how difficult it is to get a parking space there?? So I doubt they parked it.
