Title: MacDeath? Are you there?
Post by: ervin on 05:17, 16 August 13
Has anyone heard from MacDeath lately?

It's been a little while since we've had one of his mock-ups, or an analysis about colour usage in a spectrum conversion.

I hope he is ok.

You're right, he has been away a while now. He got a new job lately and it's also holiday season, so he's probably just away or busy.

Bryce.

Ah ok, that's alright then.
Thanks for the info.

I hope he is doing well.

Not me sadly. I would need some more chicken for CH - hey MacDeath you get a boxed 128 KB version for that ;-)

Hope he is fine.

He is OK  :) , surely it's a case of busy with work or holidays, but you can read one of his last lovely posts in CPC Rulez (http://cpcrulez.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5091#p23382), jejeje.

The prodigal son has returned (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?topic=7851.msg66180#msg66180), and speaking in graphics language, where he is really good ;)

I miss MacDeath and his snobbery towards Amstrads 64k machines!

Don't be a stranger.  :)

64k machine ? What sort of monstruosity can this be ?

I am actually quite active editing the recent Demoscene events involving the french scene, as most contents weren't updated since around 2010 most often.

I think the CPCwiki is a great platform to put some publicity on the Demo events and Demoscene.

Feel free to tell me if some of those stuffs are not conform to the Wiki's spirit.

I've been seeing all your edits. Of course they're great for the wiki!

Having recently (last night!) got myself I fully working 64k machine again, I am feeling some warm fuzzy "first computer reborn" feelings. Although basic 1.1 rsx handling is atrocious. Os 664 and basic 664 applied to lower and rom 0 via a spare m4 board and I have some total 64k love here.[emoji6]

Surely you mean basic 1.0! Unless you totally doctored your ROM on your 464 too!  :o

Yes obviously. I "fixed" it with basic 1.1 on the 664 roms

Much of a benefit of doing that on a 464?
