Connect PlayStation 1 AV out to CTM644 Monitor

Enjoying my CPC464 on my CTM644 at the moment but I like to play on my old PSX from time to time as well.

I would like to connect my PSX to my CTM644 to use light gun for Time Crisis etc as it requires a crt display. There is a PSX av to scart adapter available. Could I simply cut off scart connector and connect to CTM644 DIN in a similar way to a CPC to scart adapter? I've got pin outs for both PSX av out and CTM644.

If the psx wire is rgb in theory yes(in theory XD) :

I have  the psx, the ctm, and the rgb ctm wire, but not the psx wire...
