Title: GX4000 works on Amstrad plus monitor but doesn't work properly on TV
Post by: C64MidRezzie on 19:29, 19 November 18
Hi - I have a GX4000 and it works perfectly on my Amstrad Plus Colour Monitor.  I got a new power supply so I could connect it to my led tv using a scart cable.  The games show up but the action on the screen is not smooth - it has a type of pulse effect that causes the sprites to jump or blur - its impossible to play games - any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Quite possible it is more the TV than the console, have you got another tv you can try it on?

Are you powering it via the 5V input? Because the SCART port needs the 11V rail to work properly.
