I find the technical look of this game incredibly impressive with it's use of rasters. If you scroll to 2:12, you can see the yellow mushroom on the green grass, but still with the black and 2 shades of blue working seamlessly. It makes me wonder how much raster splitting is actually going on in the actual gameplay area (not including the hud.)

Le green colour and the yellow colour are the same palette entry, but swapped each 52 lines using an interruption.
You can see the colour change when scrolling screens.

Damn beautiful... Haven't played it for long, but it surely makes you want to see everything!

Still a bit of a shame the PLUS version can't get 128K and Hardsprites patches... or is it?
