What can sadly arrive on CPC with other games... A speccy port.  ;D

Didn't remember it had speech on the CPC, which is strange - it always knocked me off my socks whenever I heard some words being spoken from the tiny CPC speaker :) But I did adore the tune... reason enough to play it! Can't believe the c64 doesn't have in-game music.

Heh, and watching it full-screen on a 24" monitor is funny :D

The MSX version is a tragedy and a shame - even the sfx suck sooo bad! Pleep-pleep-bloop? Srsly?

the NES version ain't bad, technically speaking, but I think it lacks the atmosphere...

I can't remember you had a 6128...  :D

BTW its fun to see the press gave Shinobi awfull marks/score.

Amstrad 100p100 gave shinobi a shitty 75% while many think of it as one of the finest CPC game.
I guess the graphics played a large part in this.

'course I did. Bought a cheap second-hand one whose volume was stuck at full and fixed it easily. Was a happy camper :)

Yeay... MSX could get a decent SegaMAstertSystem port for MSX2 and 2+... instead it got a european Speccy port on MSX1.

Does anyone know if the Mighty Enterprise128 got a (hack)port of Shinobi?
Is this speccy or CPC or both?

Seriously, why Z80 had such a bad karma so Speccy port was the norm?

Good point : even C64 had a few "speccy ports"... Head over heels anyone? ;D

I call the Sinclair's point : it's like the godwin's point, but instead of hitler it's speccy port.
Each topic about 8 bit computers will end up with a Sinclair point, 100% chances.
