Jackal (Cheatrun) - Amstrad CPC

Lots of potential in this game, but sadly it fails hard as there is too many random deaths to make it enjoyable (or playable). Never gotten far in the game without cheating. Perhaps the programmers...[/t][/t]

Thanks! yes it could definately use some tweaks to make it more playable. Feels very rushed too.

I liked this game believe it or not. Again, probably nostalgia on my part. The movement was unrealistic and awful, but it was definitely a game that kept you on your toes.

Then again, I liked Rambo too.
Currently playing on: 2xCPC464, 1xCPC6128, 1x464Plus, 1x6128Plus, 2xGX4000. M4 board, ZMem 1MB and still forever playing Bruce Lee.
No cheats, snapshots or emulation. I play my games as they're intended to be played. What about you?

I kinda like it.  It has some charm about it.   Though I vastly prefer the NES version which I used to play quite a bit.

Also I reeeeally like the similar T.A.N.K. especially when I finally got the hang of turning the tank turret independently.
Favorite CPC games: Count Duckula 3, Oh Mummy Returns, RoboCop Resurrection, Tankbusters Afterlife

I didn't get to own a NES until mid 1992! I was kinda late to the party when it came to consoles back then.
