[AMSTRAD CPC] Green Beret - Longplay & Review (aka Rush 'n' Attack)
27 May 2011, 7:42 am

GREEN BERET on the Amstrad CPC arcade conversion - review and longplay. Also known as Rush 'n' Attack in the US (sounds like Russian Attack! Geddit?) .... 4 missions in Soviet Russia armed only with a knife to rescue the hostages! This game gave the Amstrad CPC a very bad name back in 1986 that persisted for a long time, it seems that magazines noted at the time the poor scrolling on display here (for such a high profile release) and condemned the Amstrad CPC right there and then. But in retrospect - how does it actual play today? cpc-power.com en.wikipedia.org

Some serious playing skills there. I swear that there was about 15 times when you should of died!!!

Bryce

It's great to see all the scenes in the game that I never had a chance of reaching, despite having played that game for hours on end.

I first played this on the MSX, and found it brilliant. However, looking at this...

Green Beret MSX

it's utter shite. Is there another MSX version?

@Sigh: "should have" :D

sigh

Apologies for my lazy english.

I presume that version of Green Beret is for the MSX 1?

MacDeath

That's impossibru !
Accolding to MSX fanboyz, even the MSX1 is the most powelfull 8 bit computelu with the most awessomest games evel.

Arso the MSX arways have the best smooth sclorring evel.
Japan stlong !
Grolious Nippon computelu supeliol!

(While it is well known that the Amstrad CPC cannot scroll at all...)

BTW, I alway wondered why peoples always say the CPC version of greenberet is the worst version...
