Post by: rezaarifandee on 18:26, 01 March 17
Hi, i just found my old NC100, but the lcd is so dim.
Tried to turn the wheel on the side but it only change the contrast.
Is it because dirty glass?
i tried to clean zebra strips but the screen still faint.

LCDs do dim over time as the crystals discolour, it may just be dying.

Sorry =(
Here is a picture. You see that even i use flash light from my phone, it's still hard to see.
I've been disassemble the display part. From what i see it is the reflective layer that been degraded. I might add a backlight if i have the time for it. =)

This guy (http://www.8bit-micro.com/amstrad-nc100.htm) found some high-contrast screens that fit the NC100.
