PPC 512

Hi i just got a PPC 512 and when i power it up it makes a loud continuous tone and the CRT light is a solid yellow any idea what i need to do to fix it .

Did you insert the boot floppy? If not, you won't see anything else.

Does the floppy drive make attempts to load the disk? If you hear clicking noises, there's a good chance the drive belt is broken and needs replacing.
