Located here, seems not a bad price but for me... (being in Australia) with the postage, it costs the same as a PS4.

If you can get it with local postage I think it's a no-brainer.

I was lucky enough to grab one of these 18 months ago... £30.00 cheaper than the current price.

This seller has been selling brand new G4000's for a few years now, and I sure there are others on here that got one way cheaper than I did.

The seller must have stumbled on a few pallet loads of them, but assume they are running out and that is why the price is creeping up.

**Actually, I just found a screen grab of when I purchased and they accepted an offer of £55.00 (May 2017).

Weird. Why are they getting so expensive?  Folk were selling them for £30 just a few years ago.   What makes them worth more now?

Back then there was a glut of new-old-stock GX4000's on the market, but that's dried up. Additionally, in the past two years speculators have realised there's a market for selling old retro gear to nostalgic 40-year-olds with disposable income, so they buy up everything and relist it with a nasty markup.

I guess c4cpc is the reason. It is another thing having an amstrad console with only 32 games compared to c4cpc hundreds of them.
