So by "annual" I'm assuming it'll be one magazine per year? And the first one will be about all the stuff that took place in 2018? That could be a nice Christmas present every year.

Due to my love for diskmags - and as a musician, I wanna make a suggestion here early in the project:

Books can contain text and images, so text authors and graphics artists are always included plenty in projects like this - but musicians are always left out for obvious reasons: You can't include music in a book.
Except you can! PDF files can in fact contain audio.

My suggestion is that you add an audio player in the PDF version to play various audio formats of the old computers, composed by various musicians on the different platforms.
The player could be an SWF file that plays formats like AY, YM, SID and so forth. (FLV and F4V isn't supported (anymore), but SWF should still be).

That way the PDF (almost) becomes a diskmag'ish thing. And adding music doesn't require a whole lot of space either, because these audio formats takes up very little space already.
You could also include MODs and XM files in the playlist.

I would be happy to contribute with some of my tracks.

:)

Yes indeed! What could be the stretch goals though? A coverdisk perhaps? :D

Lazy Dude

The kickstarter info looks like there is a well organised team on the case. Hmm... think I might just have a punt at this.
