A new collector's edition of La Aventura Original (a Spanish version of Crowther and Woods' Colossal Cave Adventure that was released by Dinamic in 1989) is being sold on eBay:

It looks like copies have been on sale for several months, but I only noticed it a few weeks ago - although I guess that as most readers of this forum aren't Spanish, it may not be of much interest.

The packaging and extra items look really nice, but it would cost me over £50 to buy it (including postage), so I don't plan to purchase a copy any time soon! Looking at the feedback, however, several copies have already been purchased.

Here's a CPC-POWER link to the original packaging for comparison.

(ebay doesn't show listings older than... a month? in their search engine.)

It's a new print it seems. Pretty.

I'm not a fan of selling this kind of stuff on ebay, presumably without advertising it elsewhere, and offloading them one by one without any indication that it's part of a stock or how many items are in stock.

I'll stick to my Jewels of Darkness box, but I can see the appeal for Spanish-speaking people. Very nice packaging for a classic game completely translated.

I wish there were more re-releases of classic proprietary games in pretty boxes. I suppose the rights are impossible to clear if someone wants to do everything by the book.

This is a re-edition of "La Aventura Original" game by Aventuras AD done with permission from Andres Samudio, old CEO of the company. I am not sure how different is from the original game from 1989 since i don´t own a copy of this, but the cover is also the new loading screen, done by Toni Galvez.

It was first sold at RetroAlacant a few months ago and costed 40€, with the chance of getting it signed by Samudio itself.
