Nice idea, I went till level 4, but I died many times because of enemies respawning just besides me. Frustrating. Nice gfxs and music though.
Nice game, and good use of the AY sound. ;)
I agree that the gameplay could be tweaked a bit and the game would be even better, for example: avoid respawning enemies over the player when taking or leaving a spry can (in Pssst I think they don't respawn if there's a can in the gap, but I could be wrong). It's a small change, but I think it would improve the game a lot.
Nice and big sprites, perhaps a bit too big (and I guess that's why they are unmasked). The game area gets too busy, too quick. I think I remember Pssst having smaller sprites in relation to the playing area (?).
Despite all, I think is a good effort and a fun little game, and the music is perfect!
As a port of PSSST! it is very good and the graphics are a lot better and more colorful than on the Spectrum i think it's very good. In terms of an original idea i cannot rate it as highly because it is based on a classic Spectrum game.
Just had a quick play on this (to level 5r). I like it although I think the collision detection is not perfect. I've not played Pssst so can't compare to the original...
