CPC Wiki on the move
8 August 2011, 7:00 pm

You might have noticed that the CPC Wiki is currently not accessable. The server will move to a new hosting partner, but here is the original message by Gryzor:

"Hello dear CPCWiki members,As some of you have noticed, there has been some downtime as of lately. The host has said we cannot continue on this server due to the number of connections made, so we'll probably be moving to a new one. It seems summer is always a period of moving! Anyhow, if you find that the site is gone we will try to keep you updated. You can check out cpc-live.com, follow Gryzor on Twitter (username: krakout), or drop by http://www.octoate.de and other CPC-related sites (like Phenix, I'm sure they'll pick it up sooner or later).

Cross fingers!

Regards,

The CPCWiki forum Team."

Well, we are still moving, so it's possible, that not all pages are reachable yet...

See? Gryzor is really working hard on the move ;)

Just for the record, my glasses are smaller.

Also, shouldn't it be Andreas with the networks cables and all that?

Truly a great show.

I didn't!

But then I'd probably recognise Gryzor and Devilmarkus down in the street given there's possibly real pictures of them stuck all over the CPC Community!  ;D

Well judging by the current peformance, I think our old server was most likely Holly from Red Dwarf, but now it's time to say goodbye....

Welcome back!

actually the picture sums up pretty well, how I felt working over a disgusting slow edge connection from my holiday.  :'(

Fortunately, all seems to be running pretty well now and the new IP should slowly propagate to DNS servers.  8)

Minor glitches are to be expected and will be resolved during the week.

regards,
nurgle

Is that an actual dial-up modem I see at the lower left-to-center? No wonder then...

Thins seem to be running fine ATM, admin and maintenance functions are spewing no errors.

All in all, a glorious performance in the heart of the summer :D
