Paul Woakes - Passed Away
« on: 17:19, 16 February 18 »
Hi
Probably not such a big name on the Amstrad scene but I have just seen reports about Paul Woakes passing away last year. He wrote the original Mercenary games for C64/Atari and D.A Jones did the Spectrum/Amstrad conversions.
Just thought i should get the word out and ask people to try his games via emulation or real hardware. Encounter was very good, and Mercenary even better. Very sad news.
Paul Woakes - Genius & Programmer

Thank you for Mercenary Paul
