Some best game 2018 awards
« on: 10:36, 05 April 19 »
First of all Amstrad Eterno 2018.

I'm surprised how little this has been advertised. OK, it is a local event, but they want the award to be "international".

Anyway, the results are here: http://videojuegosretro-upm.blogspot.com/2019/04/ganadores-premios-internacionales.html (Spanish only)

Some surprises, like Sir Ababol NES-ON Edition best platforming game, but in general the results are what you would expect.

Then we have The RGN Amstrad Gamers' Choice Award 2018; which is was a poll in a couple of webs. Not sure if I would call that "top 10 favourite games as voted by Amstrad gamers for 2018", but hey! The video is well put together, so there you are:

(not sure if this has been posted already, I coudln't find it; apologies if this is a repost!)
Released The Return of Traxtor, Golden Tail, Magica and The Dawn of Kernel for the CPC.

If you like my games and want to show some appreciation, you can always buy me a coffee.

They were doing the same for games from 2017 as well, but the results never ever came through (not that I was excepting any of my programmes to trouble the awards).  ::)
* Using some of the hardly used Amstrad compilers :D
* I use Firmware in my Assembly code :P
* Have interpreted some BASIC 1.1 programs for BASIC 1.0. :)

Congrats to EgoTrip for 9th place for CHAOS RISING!
Let's hope he returns to this community for more great games on our humble CPC! ^_^

Thanks. I'm not going to say never but it's extremely unlikely the way things are right now.
Also, the version included in the video was the bugged version. I did release a bug fix version. For anyone who isn't aware, it's in the original topic.
