Hey, anybody seen this?

QuoteUniwersal retro computing power supply in progress - from c64 to amiga, atari, cpc, zx family, nes, snes, .1050 atari drves, capable of powering complete set up. 115/230v inputs, cable selectable output through 26 pins combination

From what I read he's going to offer relevant cables for the micros supported.

Apparently he had another unit on sale which I had completely missed: https://lotharek.pl/productdetail.php?id=217

The new unit is a linear supply, whereas the older one is Switched mode. I'd recommend the new linear supply.

What are the advantages of linear vs switched? For what I've read, it seems a matter of size/weight/efficiency (switched) vs less noise (linear).

Bryce

You've read correct. I could give a long answer here, but I'm about to get on a plane, so I'll just point you to my answer here: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/understanding-retro-electronics/msg159178/#msg159178
