The information about the previous release - Xlife-8 for CPC6128 is released
The new version (at http://litwr2.atspace.eu/xlife/xlife4cpc.html) has a lot of improvements:
* the speed is increased up to 100%
* better pseudocolor support
* the program may run from any drive
* more benchmark modes
* the tentative pattern manipulations became 2-3 times faster
* updated Notepad+4 to rev.5
* several other improvements added
Some of them was caused by the discussion at Yagol4CPC alpha release.  A lot of thanks to opqa.  :)
This release covers three retro-platforms: Commodore +4, Amstrad CPC6128 and BK-0011 (the unique Russian home variant of PDP-11):

BK-0011 version is the first for 16-bit architecture.  Its development helped to find several new minor improvements for Amstrad CPC version.
