Happy B-Day, still can't wait for you little brother 6128...

ah... 1984, I was 6 years old... and could get my hands on this marvelous machine.

Many gratefull Thanks to you noble Sir Sugar the Greedy...

I won't hate you because you took my parent's money.
I will instead bless you twice.

You who defeated the terrible Sir MadClide the Perv, and ransomned him into oblivion.
You who protected the noble land of France against colourclashes and external peripherals.
you who gave use 128k for the same price of a 664.

You who gave use powerful palette and video of brightfull delights.
You who made us proud to have a powerfull Z80 based computer.

And long live the QUEEN too !!
le gode sauve les gouines !!!!

I was 8 at the time... and got my first computer a few months later, out of the blue. Bless my dad and mom... changed my life :)

The Beatles were touring Australia 20 years earlier when the CPC464 came out.  :laugh:

Them hard to find Readers programs will be coming up to 30 years as well, unsure if any Multi-platform magazine had a CPC program from July '84, it doesn't look as if any were published that early, the earliest published CPC Programs seems to be Sept '84 which appear to have been written July '84.  :D
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D
