The aluminium case will act as a heatsink and your coffee will cool too fast, so it's not even good at that!

It's certainly a first-grade pencil support surface though.

Damn! There is always something with these Macs... maybe I need the new Apple Pro (R) coffee cup support adapter, after all support of previous standards has been discountined with this model?

Quite right. Nothing works better for scribbling and sketching ideas.
