I connected my CTM644 to an Amiga 500 once. Worked fine, although a slightly fuzzy image.

Connecting an Amiga 1200 gave wrong colours though.

Thanks for the thoughts, link.
I will go ahead and make up the cable and add a 330 Ohm resistor in series with the sync line.

I wanted a test monitor that I could use for both CPC and Amiga.

Then a 1084 would probably be a better idea, to be honest...

It works but the monitor is low res.

A bit of a necro-answer, but yep, I did it for quite a long time. It worked well for me, to be honest :D

With the A500 it should be totally fine :) I am actualky myself working a bit on a 644 to use it not only with the CPC but with the Megadrive.
